Alma spent her early childhood years growing up in Louisiana, enjoying life with family and friends. The family later moved to California and settled in Menlo Park in 1955.

Alma worked at Ravenswood Community Recreation Center as a committed advocate for the community with a passion for youth and the elderly. Alma spent her career helping others and enriching their lives. With her commitment to excellence and improving others, Alma retired after 25 years of devoted service.

Alma loved music, dancing, especially Zydeco. Alma also loved arts and crafts, gardening, pets and bird watching. Even more she enjoyed sharing these gifts with others. Alma was very kind-hearted, wise, down-to-earth, passionate for people and willing to help in times of need. Alma loved her family and friends, and she was loved by all that knew her.
