Carolyn Ann Razzano
Nov. 17, 1935-Nov. 20, 2024
Los Angeles, California
Carolyn Ann Razzano passed away peacefully at City of Hope Cancer Center, Los Angeles in the early evening hours of November 20, 2024, three days after her 89th birthday. Carolyn was born and raised in Lima, Ohio, daughter of Guy and Irene Infante. She was a graduate of St. Rose High School and attended Mount St. Joseph College in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she studied theater.
Carolyn devoted her life to the success of her family, moving from Pennsylvania to Ohio to Florida to Palo Alto and finally Los Angeles, California. She was a loyal wife and loving mother who will be deeply missed and her indelible spirit will live on in the memories we cherish.
Carolyn was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Tony.
Carolyn’s love of beauty and antiques spanned decades. Her knowledge and keen eye were evident as she amassed quite a collection of unique pieces. Her antiquing took her from coast to coast, and she was the queen of finding a great bargain. In later years, she enjoyed many games of Rummikub, whether at the senior center or with her grandchildren.
Carolyn is survived by her children Robin Pezzimenti (Frank), Thomas (Robin), Lisa Dunbar, Tony (June), David (Thu), and Elizabeth (Kevin Lincoln). Her grandchildren are Michael, Sara, Lauren, Marissa, David, Jessica, Tony, Lucas, Matthew, Jay, Lily, Guy, and Simone, and great-grandchildren Adelaide, Juliet, Magdalene, Declan, Isabella, Aidan, Sara, John, and Mateo, siblings Marie Barr (deceased), Guy Infante, Roz Schoonover, and Peter Infante. Carolyn endured the heartbreaking loss of her beloved granddaughter Sara.
A Memorial Mass will take place on January 10, 2025, at 10:00 am at St. Thomas Aquinas church, Waverley Street, Palo Alto, followed by a reception at Il Fornaio, Palo Alto.
