Daniel Leith Anderson Jr. died at home on December 4, 2019. A lifelong sportsman with a passion for golf, Leith was one of the top 100 golf club fitters in America. He grew up in Hinsdale, Illinois, a championship swimmer and golfer, and graduated from Stanford University where he was a member of the golf team. Throughout his life, Leith was a natural mentor, offering guidance and encouragement to family, friends, colleagues, and students. He loved big dinner parties and was known to have everyone switch seats halfway through a meal, “just to keep things interesting.”

Survivors include son Daniel Ryan Anderson (wife Jen, grandson Parker); daughter Brett Anderson (fiancé Edward Breckenridge); former wife Bonnie Anderson; sisters Christie, Gayle (Matthew), and Elizabeth; nephew Judd, and niece Melissa (Matthew). He was preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Dorothy, and brother Scott.
