Redwood City, California
Tom was married to Redwood City resident Beverly Schutz Morgan for 43 years. Like his father, he proudly served in the US Marine Corps. He was a painting and drywall contractor in South San Francisco where he lived most of his life, but retired in 2002, and he moved to RC in 2008 with Bev to live in her childhood home. Tom played guitar, Bev sang, and they entertained with two-part harmony on songs from the 1940s to 1970s. Tom raced a 1959 MGA and a 1956 Morgan for 20 years each at road race tracks, and was an accomplished racer, driving coach and mechanic. Tom and Bev met in Redwood City on March 30, 1979, and filled 46 years with love, laughter and music. Tom is survived by his daughters Adrian Morgan LeQue, Susan Morgan DeMorest and grandchild Zephyr Morason. He was predeceased by parents Doris and John Morgan, brother Jere Morgan, and granddaughter Mariah DeMorest.
There will be a celebration of Tom's life on March 29 at 4pm, Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 2124 Brewster Ave., Redwood City; live music and food after the service.
