Louise Hunt, 88, a resident of Menlo Park, died July 11. She was born in Alliance, Neb. She graduated from Colorado State College in Greeley, Colo., with a degree in business education.
She taught high school and then worked as chief clerk in the Denver office of the FBI.
She met Murray Hunt in 1942 and they married a year later. They lived in Oak Park, Ill., for 12 years, then moved to Menlo Park.
She was involved with the Boy Scouts and the Girl Scouts, the PTA at Oak Knoll School in Menlo Park and Menlo Atherton High School, where she helped start the first career-guidance program. She also worked with First Methodist Church in Palo Alto and Environmental Volunteers. She is survived by her husband, Murray Hunt of Redwood City; and children, Ross C. Hunt of Paradise, Calif., Kathleen Siegel of Grants Pass, Ore., Eileen Hunt-Haas of Napa, Calif., and Claudia Pederson of Redwood City.
