Ronald Rio Ferrando, born May 30, 1953, to Ezzio and Rita Ferrando, passed away peacefully in Menlo Park on February 18, 2013.
Ron grew up in Menlo Park and remained in the area. An avid drummer, he spent much of his retirement perfecting his drumming skills. He had a passion for restoring muscle cars. He was a beloved school bus driver for Las Lomitas School District for 30 years.
Ron?s concern for their transportation needs and their general well being will be remembered by the many children and parents who knew him.
A loving father, brother, uncle and friend he will be sorely missed. Ron is survived by his son Mark, brothers Bob (Grace) and Randy (Mary) uncle to Andrew, Mary, and Alex.
Private services will be held. Remembrances may be mailed to PO Box 831 Menlo Park, CA 94026
Donations may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society.

Ron Rio Ferrando will always remain in our prayers...Having the honor of meeting Ron through the marriage of my sister 20 years ago to Ron's brother Bob, Ron left an impression on us of warmth, sincerity and kindness. The world is left a little less complete now with the loss of Ron but in the divine balance of things, Heaven has been that much more enriched with Ron called home. We will miss you Ron but no worries, we will eventually all be together one day for a wonderful celebration. Bradford & Alix Barrett and family

Beautiful photo.....although we saw you just a few times throughout the many years, we will miss being around such a gracious, wonderful man. Always had a welcoming, kind word to say when we visited. Your were a great man, Ron. May you be having a wonderful time in heaven. Patty & David
