I miss you my friend. I miss you so much.
Fumi was an absolute pleasure to be around and work with. Her knowledge of German Shepherds was vast and unwavering. I was saddened to hear of her passing as i looked forward to seeing her again and showing her how her baby Shepherds had grown into wonderful, smart, well tempered and perfect representations of a working dog. She was truly a exceptional person who will be missed. Thanks for the memories Fumi. Jake and Becca
I met Fumi in california working private security. We were very close, sometimes we would get in arguments and not speak for a while. I was shocked to learn last sunday of her passing. I miss you my dear friend. You are loved.
I did not personally know Fumiko, but, did have several conversations with her through forums and such. She was always inspirational and positive when it came to BMX racing and offered advice to my daughter who raced BMX. I am so sorry for your loss. She will be missed by many...
I was overwhelmed to read that Fumi had passed. I was in charge of training at Stanford Hospital while she worked there (in the mid 1990's) and I enjoyed working with her and talking with her. At the time, she was living on the South side of San Jose, but didn't have a car, so we ended up car pooling a lot. She used to brag about what she could teach her dogs to do and would often show me when I was dropping her off. I remember her being very vibrant and full of life - willing to try anything. I am very very sorry for your loss.
