I knew Spencer at ETHS. We sat in homeroom across from each other. We kidded alot. He was a great person and he will be missed.
Like many, I knew Spencer from Peet's and Fremont Park. Due to my recent schedule, visits to both have been unusually and exceedingly rare the last 3 months - so I just learned about his passing yesterday. What a shock. We would see each other often, and we had a long & lovely conversation two years ago. I found him to be a curious, optimistic, open-minded and warm person. Blessings to you, dear Spencer.
Spencer was a unique individual whose company and conversation I looked forward to every time our paths crossed at Peet's. He was a principles and values driven gentleman and genuinely nice human being. I miss him.
I knew Spencer for 28 years as his neighbor. He was like a brother and although we had different political leanings we were close. He watched over my cats when I was away and I enjoyed talking with him here at what he called "Club Roble". He had this wonderful spirit that cheered me up. He would drive me to and from outpt. surgeries, etc. It isn't the same here without him. He will be missed.
