Jack donated time coaching Little League with the downtown Palo Alto Optimist when his boys were on the teams and his wife ran concessions. Jack also was an Elk member of Palo Alto.
Jack spent the last few years of life semi-retired in Grass Valley, Calif. He loved gardening and grew beautiful roses in his gardens.
